For various reasons, parents
choose to provide the religious formation for their children at hoe. The Faith
First textbook series or the Loreto Model Program are offered for
parents to use in teaching their children at home during the year. The
coordinator, Joan Egan, provides support for the parents.
To choose this option, please complete a Registration Form and return it to the Parish Office. There is a website for parents and children to visit to enhance the lessons. Click on FaithFirst to visit it. THERE ARE TWO OPTIONS for following the Lesson Schedules. The first option is to use the Lesson Schedules with the At Home Family Guide that correlates lessons from the different grade levels by theme for grades 1-6. The Home Study Lesson Schedule for grades 7 and 8 does not correspond to either the Family Guide or the lessons from the evening sessions. The other option is designed to help keep you on track with the FaithFirst textbook as used in the evening sessions. These Lesson Schedules are posted at the top of the page. |
